The options explained.
What is shed lining?
Shed lining is a bitumen paper waterproof membrane which is fitted between the framing and cladding whilst the building is being erected. This material is moisture resistant and will ensure that your building will remain drier, this is particularly handy if you will be wanting to insulate your building at a later date.
Why floor bearers?
Floor bearers measure 3" x 3" in thickness and are treated against rot, this is guaranteed for 15 years. The idea of floor bearers is to physically lift your building off of the ground and allowing air to circulate underneath. This will help to prevent any damp entering your building through the floor.
Tanalisation is a pressure treatment which is impregnated in to the timber and penetrates below the surface. The treatment colours the timber to a slight green colour which will eventually fade to a silver. Tanalising protects against rot and insects.
Extra informationThe price for adding additional opening windows is different to the shed window as they are joinery made, if you would like to add additional extras please enquire.
