The Haywood Summerhouse 14x8 (4.26m x 2.43m)
The Haywood Summerhouse 14x8 is an attractive winged cabin, it has a bay window on the front and 2 opening 9 pane Georgian windows, one on each side. The single door is finished off with a 3 lever lock and antique style hinges.
The cladding on this building is redwood tongue and groove boarding over a planed and rounded internal framework which measures 2" x 1.5" in thickness. This framework is also used in the roof which is finished with barge boards and topped off with an attractive green mineral roof felt.
There are several options available with this building, there is tanalisation to protect against the elements and also 32 different colours available, please see chart below for these. For added security there is toughened glass available and also heavy duty roofing felt and shed lining.

The options explained.
What is shed lining?
Shed lining is a bitumen paper waterproof membrane which is fitted between the framing and cladding whilst the building is being erected. This material is moisture resistant and will ensure that your building will remain drier, this is particularly handy if you will be wanting to insulate your building at a later date.
Why floor bearers?
Floor bearers measure 3" x 3" in thickness and are treated against rot, this is guaranteed for 15 years. The idea of floor bearers is to physically lift your building off of the ground and allowing air to circulate underneath. This will help to prevent any damp entering your building through the floor.
Tanalisation is a pressure treatment which is impregnated in to the timber and penetrates below the surface. The treatment colours the timber to a slight green colour which will eventually fade to a silver. Tanalising protects against rot and insects.
Extra informationThe price for adding additional opening windows is different to the shed window as they are joinery made, if you would like to add additional extras please enquire.
