At Taylors Garden Buildings we have a fantastic range of Cedar products available for our customers to choose from.
Our Cedar products, technically known as thujaplicin, has a decay resistance. A majority of timbers will rot, particularly when in contact with the ground. For that reason, many of the cheaper materials need to be tantalised or protected with preservatives, However, Cedar has its own built in preservative technically known as thujaplicin, a substance that enables a cedar tree to survive naturally, and to have its own in-built resistance to fungal attack.
Cedar absorbs far less ambient moisture than other timbers. When in contact with water it subsequently dries, the absorption and evaporation is considerably less. This enables it to keep its original dimensions. Cedar will not cup or warp to anything like the extent of other timbers. It has an amazing ability to retain its original shape.
The cedar range make a great garden feature and is perfect for garden hosting and is useful for other outdoor activities.
Our Express Delivery range is delivered in mainland UK. Additional charges apply in remote areas of the UK.
