Question: Do you have to treat these summerhouses and gazebos with anything, and if so - how often?
Answer: There are two different options on the wood finish with these summerhouses and gazebos. The standard deal (which is basically treated pine) is dip treated with a 12 month stain. After this you will have to give extra coats of wood preservative. The time between coats would depend on the stain used. If you have the summerhouse in Cedar you don't need to treat the building but every few years you will need to oil the wood.
