Bailey Studio 8' x 6'
The Bailey studio is a versatile building featuring as standard a Georgian bay window and stable door with attractive cottage style window as an added feature. The boxed barge boards finish this building off whilst the optional felt roof tiles enhance the overall look even further. This studio is hand made in our own workshops by our trained carpenters using old fashioned methods. Each panel is checked from start to finish for precision and accuracy, avoiding faults which can often derive from mass production.
The Bailey is available in many different configurations at this standard price. The image of the Bailey demonstrates a variation with three windows in the gable end and high level feature windows. Every building is made specifically for each customer to offer complete flexibility. Please contact us prior to ordering to discuss your exact requirements.
The Bailey Studio features the following as standard:
- Framing: Heavy duty framing of 2"x2" (50 x 50mm) as standard with top and
bottom rails of 2"x1½" (50 x 38mm). The timber is of a high grade and planed
smooth.
- Cladding: 12mm 5th Grade Tongue and Grooved Shiplap, well seasoned Swedish red wood pine to ensure relatively knot free boards.
- Roof: Manufactured from 12mm T&G boards of the same quality as our cladding. Our roofs are then covered with 20kg green roofing felt as standard however a higher quality, heavy duty felt is available as are also felt tiles. Roofs can even be adapted to take heavier coverings such as clay pan tiles.
- Floor: 12mm T&G boarding as standard, supported on close centred 2"x1½"
(50 x 38mm) planed floor joists.
- Windows: All our windows are hand made in the old fashioned way using mortice and tenon joints and secured with high quality wood glue and star dowels.
- Doors: Stable door with a cottage style window.

- Heavy Duty Roofing Felt or Felt Tiles
- Toughened Glass
Further available options include security hinges, stable doors, heavy duty locks, security windows, skylights, partitions, and even roll on - roll off roofs.
