Aldeburgh Summerhouse 12' x 10' Wide
The Aldeburgh Summerhouse 12' x 10' Wide (3.66 x 3.05m) is manufactured in our own workshops in Norfolk and was originally designed for display at the Royal Norfolk Show. A very charming summerhouse featuring country style windows, double doors and additional 3' verandah with turned balustrades. This building is manufactured from well seasoned Swedish Red Wood pine and clad in 12mm boards, hand selected to ensure a relatively knot free finish.
Our flag ship range of products, these summerhouses are hand made by our trained carpenters using old fashioned methods. Each panel is checked from start to finish for precision and accuracy, avoiding faults which can often derive from mass production. These garden buildings are built to the very highest quality and offer complete flexibility because they are hand made to order to the individual requirements of each customer.
All our own Summerhouses are dip treated and the Aldeburgh features:
- Framing and boards planed smooth for the best finish and each timber is hand selected to ensure a relativity knot free building.
- Both the doors are made from 12mm T&G boards which are fully framed and ledged with 2x2" framing.
- Each window is hand made in our own workshops with mortised and tenoned joints providing a substantial frame. The 4mm horticultural glass is fixed with mitred beading on a bed of clear silicone.
- Our roofs are manufactured from 12mm T&G boards supported by 2"x2" purlins, a central Scalloped truss and finished with 20kg green roofing felting.
Please note: This summerhouse is finished with roofing felt as standard and not shingles as shown. These may be purchased as an optional extra.

Toughened Glass
The height, doors or windows can be extended and our framing can be increased to 3"x2" or even 4"x2". Cladding can be pressure treated or even hand painted. Insulation packs for the roof can be included as well as the interior walls may be insulated and lined. Our workshops can produce a building to your own bespoke design allowing you to create the perfect space for your own personal needs. Please contact us prior to ordering to discuss your own requirements such as the layout of the building, as many layouts are possible.
