Tuin have some very unique designs of buildings and are available in a variation of styles and sizes, prices are extremely competitive. Being from a Dutch supplier quality is never compromised and is manufactured using kiln dried Northern Swedish timber, fully planed to precise levels and totally free from finger joints or mixing of timbers. The UK as an enormous amount of log cabin suppliers across many price brands. Beware of the cheap buildings and always ask about finger joints and timber mixes as this can cause serious problems with the building in the future. Dutch standards insist on no finger joints!

Tuin Log cabins are available in four main styles; Standard Untreated :: Pressure Treated :: Base Coat Painted :: Base and Top Coat Painted

Tuin offer a whole host of different types of log cabins from 19mm up to 70mm. They utilise a conical tongue and groove with a slightly large tongue than normal to ensure a tight and weather resistant joint. The smaller thicknesses are single T&G moving up to double and triple as the log thickness gets larger. All of them come as standard with roofing felt, however these buildings offer the possibility to upgrade to coloured roof shingles, beaver tail shingles or even EPDM roofing foil or metal tiles. Also included are pressure treated foundation beams although we do recommend the use of their unique "drainage beams" in either tanalised or hardwood. Fully glazed with very quality European standard door and window furniture, internally beaded for security. The doors and windows are of a high standard using laminated wood to ensure they are free from warping and moving in extremes of temperatures and humidity. Log cabin 50mm thick and upwards have double glazing as standard.

A large selection of the log cabins within the Tuin range carry the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) logo supporting the responsible management of the world's forests. This indicates that any wood used is sourced from well managed forests, they are currently working hard to ensure the entire range is FSC.

Tuin supply only the highest quality product at an extremely competitive price with a full option service to enhance the building to your aspirations including tanalisation to increase the life span of your cabin and finishing service in an opaque or translucent stain. With a choice of 33 different colours there is sure to be a colour to suit the theme of your garden. Several further options exist for these buildings such as guttering, a metal finial, profiled water draining hardwood and tanalised foundation beams, standard foundation beams and floor packs in 18mm or heavy duty 27mm. Increase the available storage space within your log cabin with the addition of a shed extension or log store canopy.
