Brazilian Amazonas Hammocks and Hanging Chairs

Hand woven in the Ceara region of North East Brazil from durable cotton, where hammock making has a long tradition, Amazonas offer a lovely range of outdoor hammocks in a massive variety of colours and styles. The cottons are dyed with high-quality dyes, which are especially selected for their compatibility with health and are obtained directly from European manufacturers.

New for 2011, a selection of hammocks are now manufactured using EllTex. A special mix of polyester and cotton, these hammocks are weatherproof, will hardly fade and stay extremely tear proof even after repeatedly getting wet. Hang these hammocks out in rain or shine, EllTex is strong, copes well with heavy loads and soft just like the cotton of all other Amazonas hammocks.

All the hammocks are available on there own or with a hammock stand in metal or wood. We also have a range of portable hammocks specially designed for travelling and backpacking.

A different type of garden furniture is offered by the hanging chairs which can be used outside or in the home. With all the comfort of a garden hammock, each is supported by a long wooden bar and suspends you in the air just like a hammock. Perfect for those with smaller gardens.
